Block is unit of development administration for rural areas formed by the State Government. Officials posted there get their salaries from State Governments in India. Block Development Officer have to implement various Central & State Govt. development programs through the officials posted from different development departments of State Government bodies like Panchayat, Rural Development, Agriculture, Fishery, Sports, Irrigation, Elementary Education, Veterinary, Health etc

Age Limit:

Minimum 21 years and Maximum 35 years as on (01-08-17) 

Age Relaxation:

SC/ST Candidates: 5 years

OBC Candidates: 2 years

Women candidates: 3 years

Educational Qualification: 
Candidates should have passed Graduation Degree in relevant stream with 50% marks from a recognized university.
