Engineers Recruitment in PSU through GATE 2018

This year  Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Guwahati conducting Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)  2018 to recruit engineers in various department of Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) companies.

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an examination that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering and science. GATE is conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technology  (Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee) on behalf of the National Coordination Board – GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), Government of India.

GATE 2018 Exam Pattern:

GATE 2018 will be conducted on 23 subjects and as ONLINE Computer Based Test (CBT). The online examination paper will contain some questions for which numerical answers must be keyed in by the candidate using the virtual keypad. Rest of the questions will be of Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) type. The Candidates will use ONLY an on-screen virtual calculator provided for the examination.  The Examination for GATE 2018 will be conducted on 3rd, 4th, 10th, 11th February 2018.

Application Fee:

The application fee vary as per category and gender. Application fee for female candidates and SC/ST/PWD candidates is Rs. 750/-. For all other category candidates, the application fee is Rs. 1500/-. International candidates have to pay US $50. The fee can be paid through net banking, debit card and e-challan.
