Technical/Non Technical posts in Indian Air Force 2017

Indian Air Force invites unmarried male candidates to appear in recruitment rally from 4 November to 6 November at Rajiv Gandhi Government Polytechnic, Itanagar Arunachal Pradesh to join as an Airman in Group X ”Technical Trades” and Y ”Non-Technical”.

The Recruitment Test for Group "X‟ (Technical) Trades and Group "Y‟ (Non-Technical) Trades {Except Automobile Technician, GTI, IAF (P), IAF (S), Med Asst and Musician Trades} will be held at Rajiv Gandhi Government Polytechnic, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh .

Examination/Rally venue will be open from 0600h-1000h and the examinations will be conducted as per the details given below. Candidates from the State of Arunachal Pradesh fulfilling the domicile requirement

Vacancy:

Airman Group X (Technical Trades): As per requirement

Airman Group Y (Non-Technical Trades): As per requirement

Pay Scale:

Airman Group X (Technical Trades): Rs. 33,100

Airman Group Y (Non-Technical Trades): Rs. 26,900

  

Age Limit:

Born between 13th January, 1998 to 27th June, 2001

Educational Qualification: 
Airman Group X (Technical Trades): Candidates should have passed Intermediate/10+2 or an equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English OR must have passed Three-year Diploma Course in the relevant stream from a Government recognized Polytechnic Institute with 50% marks in aggregate, and 50% marks in English in Diploma or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma Course.

Airman Group Y (Non-Technical Trades): Candidates should have passed Intermediate/10+2 or an equivalent examination in any stream/subject approved by Central/State Education Board with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

Selection Procedure:

Interested and eligible candidates must bring original documents to the rally with Original Passing Certificates and Mark Sheets of all Original and four self-attested photocopies of Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent Examination Passing Certificate and Marks Sheet on 04-11-2017.

Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of Written Examination, PFT and Medical Examination.
