General Duty Medical Officer: 1520 posts

Pay Scale:  Rs. 15,600-42,000 Grade Pay: Rs. 5,400

Age Criteria: (as on 01-01-2017): 
For Medical Graduates: Maximum 36 years
For Post Graduates: Maximum 40 years

Education Qualification:

Candidates must have passed Medical Degree included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule of Indian Medical Council Act 1956 and be registered as Medical Practitioner in West Bengal.

Age Relaxation:

SC/ST: 5 Years

OBC: 3 Years

PWB: 10 Years

General/OBC/UR Candidates have to pay Rs. 210 through Duplicate Challan, as generated by filling up the online application, at the Bank Counter in any branch of Banks participating in GRIPS (Govt. Receipt Portal System), Govt. of West Bengal. Govt. Receipt Head of Account is ‘0051-00-104- 002-16’. SC/ST/PH Candidates don’t have to pay any fee.

Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of Written Examination and Personal Interview.
